They are clear and fit the controller perfectly. The jackets have ripples on the sides so they do not slide out from your hands. In case they do slip out, the jackets provide extra padding on the end to protect the remotes from damage. Why not go on the Nintendo web site and get as many FREE ones as you would like? I got 4 for my system and they even pay the shipping. Plus they work great! I suspect the FREE one you will get from Nintendo will be the only ones you need! Save the money you would be spending from these sellers and put it towards a Wii Ware game or a game on the Virtual Channel. There's really no reason to buy these when Nintendo gives them away for FREE!
