Customer Review: Doesn't Work With Mario Kart!!!
Bought this a week ago, and seemed to work alright at first. Then I started playing Mario Kart online, but after every three races, my Wii would crash and I'd have to restart. Very consistent, ALWAYS after three races online. I called nintendo, and they said that it was 100% because of the Intec Lan Adapter. I went to the Intec website to call them and get their side of the story...but their contact page is totally blank! Bottom line...DON'T BUY THIS! And Amazon, if you're listening, please stop selling products from shady third-party manufacturers...
Customer Review: Works well with Wii and other computers
This adapter worked well out of the box. I went to the network config and set up the Wii to use the wired connection and it connected without any issues. Never had an issue with the adapter. I also found that it works well for connecting computers to the network when an ethernet port is not available. I used it to connect my OLPC to the network and it worked great.
